Cheam Sports FC have done the double again! They have won the League and the Cup for the second year in a row and will be holding their presentation at the Club on 13th June. Congratulations to all players & officials on this quite remarkable achievement!

PLUS! the under 13s entered a Summer Tournament and won the Plate Final.....is there no stopping Cheam Sports FC?

Yet another shiny piece of plastic to put in your wallet or purse........Membership Cards will be issued in June and you will need to be a full playing Member or Social Member of one of our Sections to benefit from using the facilities. Social Membership forms are available behind the bar or ONLINE.

Also, we know it's getting to quite an exciting stage of the footie season but nobody likes a potty-mouth; please play your part to keep this a family Club. We will NOT tolerate any inappropriate language or behaviour.

NOMADS JOURNEY ONWARDS TO EUROPE!

Nomads Korfball Club completed their stunning return to the business end of the top flight of English Korfball by taking 3rd place in the HSKL and with that, a spot in the Europa Shield next season. Congratulations from Cheam Sports Club on this fantastic achievement and we look forward to welcoming you here during the Summer months.

The Club would like extend a warm welcome to all players, supporters and officials of Cheam Bowling Club and Cheam Cricket Club as they return for the summer season. We wish you every success for the 2010 campaign and look forward to seeing you in the Clubhouse.

We are excited to announce that, with effect from Friday 12th March, DELIGHTS CATERING will be the OFFICIAL caterers to Cheam Sports Club.

One of the leading lights in local catering, they will bring value for money and much-needed consistency to complement the already fantastic value that existing Members enjoy in the Bar.

Menus are available to view HERE. Please note that these are on sale ALL DAY, EVERY DAY UNTIL 9pm!

MEMBERSHIP - A MESSAGE TO OUR MEMBERS

We have received a number of comments about non-members using the Clubhouse and a few complaints about some bad language being heard in the Bar area - all of which we take very seriously.

Any incidences of inappropriate behaviour or bad language will be dealt with swiftly - as a family Club we must be extra vigilant that the Code of Conduct is adhered to at all times.

In close consultation with the Cheam Sports Club Executive, steps have already been taken to collate an up-to-date list of all section Memberships, both full & social, with a view to identifying those users of the Bar who are not currently Members or Guests of Members.

We hope to have Membership cards issued by June and will be carrying out appropriate spot-checks thereafter. Regular users of the Bar who are found not to be at least Social Members of one of our Sections will be offered the chance to join us formally by completing the appropriate Membership Form.

Furthermore, the Executive have offered the use of our Bar area and facilities to Members of Sutton Cricket Club until the end of April, by which time they will all be given the chance to join as Members. We hope that they will make Cheam Sports Club their new venue of choice, even if just on a Social Membership basis.

In the meantime, we thank you for your patience as we deal with these issues and hope that you continue to support the Bar in the months ahead.

SMOKING OUTSIDE THE CLUBHOUSE - REMINDER!

Following a lot of feedback from users of both Cheam Sports Club and Nuffield, the area outside the entrance to both Clubs is completely non-smoking.

Smokers from the Sports Club are asked to walk around the building and use the pathway at the rear before the patio. Please use the ash-bins provided.
